As part of the Tardor Solidària (Solidarity Autumn) program in the Sant Andreu District, we aim to create a space for dialogue that connects past and present, reflecting on how the neighborhood has welcomed various waves of migration and how these dynamics evolve with new technologies.
We’ll share intergenerational experiences and stories: neighbors will recall how the right to migrate was experienced in the early days of Congrés – Indians, the obstacles they faced, and how forms of collective resistance were woven. From there, the Algorace collective will bring us to the present, showing how technology today affects the rights of migrants — from biometric control to digital barriers — and how we can foster a critical, anti-racist perspective on artificial intelligence.
