Gaza persists as a living narrative, a resolute voice amidst the deafening noise of bombings, a thread connecting land, places, and people with its history and culture. Gaza Remains the Story (Gaza, the History that Endures) invites us to uncover the deep roots of the Palestinian experience, focusing on Gaza’s unique heritage: its aspirations, its arts, and the resilience that thrives even in times of adversity.
While the shadows of war attempt to silence it, Gaza emerges with dignity: its creativity and artistic expression, the strength of its people, and their struggle to preserve what is theirs. This exhibition aims to lift the veil of misinformation, countering biased narratives to offer the world a clear, honest, and intimate view of a resilient city located at the heart of Palestine, the region, and the world.
With texts, drawings, and audiovisual materials, it explores the historical past, the economic soul, the lived geographies, and the creative projects that define life in Gaza. It is a cry against oblivion and an open window to its future. An act of memory, denunciation, and resistance.
An exhibition by The Palestinian Museum that educates, inspires, and asserts the essence of a people.
