New projects join Canòdrom to keep imagining digital futures

At Canòdrom, we keep growing! In this new call, seven projects have been submitted, with two joining as new initiatives. Among them, we are incorporating innovative and essential themes such as a critical perspective on artificial intelligence with Utop(IA) or the analysis of toxic and extractivist social networks. We are also opening space for projects focused on the monetization and co-production of open-source cultural content, like Bit Lab Cultural.

But that’s not all. Strengthening their trajectory at Canòdrom, some projects we already know well continue to grow with us as stable collaborators. ArsGames, FemBloc, Fundació Platoniq, OpenSystems, and PokeCode remain part of the ecosystem, bringing their experience and commitment to technological and social innovation.

A space to grow and share

All these projects, both new and established, will have a space to develop their initiatives with the support and guidance of the Canòdrom team. We know that innovation doesn’t happen alone: here, they find a collaborative network to share ideas, methodologies, and challenges in building a more democratic and accessible technology together.

Join as a collaborator

Being part of the Canòdrom Community doesn’t necessarily require having a fixed workspace. Collaborating projects or entities can join the ecosystem without occupying a permanent space, benefiting from a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and experimentation. Short-term collaboration lasts for one year, extendable for another. Once this period ends, if the project wishes to remain linked to Canòdrom, it must apply for a new call.

As a collaborator, an entity can:

  • Use meeting rooms, training spaces, and multipurpose areas, as well as common spaces for internal and external events.
  • Access the shared workspace during Canòdrom’s opening hours with prior reservation.
  • Use the available technical equipment, subject to availability.
  • Participate in governance spaces and take an active role in shaping the cultural and educational program.
  • Organize and propose activities within Canòdrom.
  • Use the space’s internal and external communication channels.

If your project doesn’t require a fixed workspace but you still want to be part of this community, collaboration opportunities are always open. Find out how to join here.
