Every Monday and Tuesday afternoon, from July 1 to 31, from 17:00 to 19:00, the children's animation service returns to the stands of Canòdrom. With a recreational, preventive, educational, and participatory promotion purpose, this initiative aims to transform Canòdrom into a more playable space and a climate refuge in the heart of Congrés.
July is synonymous with games in the square, in the street, afternoons of soccer, bicycles up and down, running with friends, playing cards in the shade, laughter, and fun until nightfall.
The stands at the Canòdrom once again fill with games, creativity, and activities for children up to 12 years old, accompanied by their families and friends who want to disconnect, play, and learn together. This activity aims to boost the life of the Congrés and Els Indians neighborhood and the entire city.
Play Stands for a More Playable Space
The Canòdrom aims to become a more playable facility, where children feel they have a right to public space. Therefore, every Monday and Tuesday afternoon from July 1 to 31, from 5 to 7 pm, the children’s activity service returns to the stands at the Canòdrom.
The activities are led by professionals with activities aimed at children up to 12 years old, accompanied, to help them work on different themes. Through open and free proposals, the afternoons in July are meant to be spent in the shade of the Canòdrom, meeting others and creating healthy bonds through respect and creativity.
Children, accompanied by their families or caregivers, will enjoy a playful and inclusive environment to learn to develop freely. Come play at #OpenStands!

Other Activities at the “Open Stands”
The summer cultural program at the “Open Stands” is filled with fantasy and science fiction with a will for social transformation. Every Friday in July, the square and stands at the Canòdrom transform into an open-air cinema.
