The most conservative segments of society have viewed the Internet as an avenue to disseminate and propagate their hate-based ideologies, along with the negation of diversity. Confronted by this, it becomes imperative to question whether the present-day Internet remains a valuable tool for our collective organization, self-preservation, and the creation of communities capable of addressing contemporary challenges.
In this session organized within the framework of the Escola de Som Connexió, we have brought together Proyecto UNA, SpiderAlex, ArsGames, and Espai QWERTY to engage in a discussion about the ongoing relevance of the Internet as a realm for community support and visibility. Our objective is to exchange potential strategies that can illuminate the path toward confronting the current challenges.
