Open Mics! The Canòdrom Celebrates Festa Major | October 3, 7 PM
At the Canòdrom, we hang the banners between the Congrés and Indians festivals and open the Ràdio Canòdrom microphones to community projects from these neighborhoods and beyond, with whom we collaborate throughout the year. In this live podcast, with the Barcelona Community Radio Network, we will feature initiatives focused on reconstructing historical and collective memory, learn about proposals to address the climate emergency, and review the current state of digital rights.

Deactivating Hate: Combating Discrimination in the Digital World | October 31, 7:30 PM
To what extent is freedom of expression legitimate when it violates other fundamental human rights? Intolerance and hate attacks on individuals and specific groups on social media generate violence. But why are social networks such fertile ground for hate speech? How is money connected to this phenomenon? Is another internet, leaving no one behind, possible?
A roundtable composed of experts from Es País Valencià, cuellilargo, Fembloc, and Proyecto UNA will attempt to answer these and more questions about hate on social media.

EinESS Debates: Open Technologies and Activism | November 13-20, 7-8:30 PM
The EinESS virtual series is characterized by showcasing projects, platforms, methodologies, and open and free digital culture technologies of high value for cultural environments within the social and solidarity economy (SSE).
