One of the questions that arises from spaces that generate critical and transformative cultural proposals is that of elaborating an open quality cultural proposal. Understanding cultural centres as porous spaces, permeable to what is happening in our environment is a clear political position, a commitment to understanding culture in a more holistic way.
This commitment is clear in the spaces claimed and managed by the city and its neighbours. What happens when there are other spaces that are committed to democratising culture? We work this day with Santi Eizaguirre, research partner of the research group Creativity, innovation and urban transformation, who will guide us in a talk to learn about transformative cultural spaces such as the Arnau Itinerant, La Literal, the Ateneu de 9 Barris or the Arts Santa Mònica.
