Godot Engine: An Introduction to Creating Open-Source Video Games

Do you know about Godot Engine? It is the fastest-growing open-source game development engine in terms of community and features. If you want to start creating your own video games with an open tool, this is your workshop.

With video game developer and university professor Rafa Laguna, we will learn to navigate the interface, work with scenes and nodes, program in Godot's scripting language (GDScript), create user interfaces, and work with third-party libraries and assets.

The course includes four sessions:

  • Monday, November 18 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • Monday, November 25 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • Monday, December 2 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • Monday, December 9 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
