Install parties are events with the goal of setting up Linux installations on computers, while also building and strengthening networks and communities. In this session, we go beyond and apply the spirit of computer installations to the world of networks and routers.
At Canòdrom, we are establishing an intermediary-free experimental network, connecting different devices or nodes in a decentralized manner, similar to a tree with many branches. So far, this network has been solely generated via cables. In this install party, we get to work to further extend the wireless network using open-source routers.
Join the install party and learn how to unlock a router while we install Libremesh on the routers of Canòdrom's experimental network and link them together.
