The first edition of the Democracy Lab by Nets4Dem will bring together technical personnel from local governments and democracy professionals from across Europe to promote collaborative problem-solving and democratic innovation at the local level. The goal is to develop innovative ideas that empower citizens to participate in decision-making processes, giving them a voice on the challenges facing society.

Organized by Eurocities and the host city of Barcelona within the framework of the European Capital of Democracy, the participants will focus on democratic innovation in digital transformation.
