During the FediFesta, we will explain the campaigns that have emerged in recent days following the exit from Twitter, such as #VamonosJuntas, #Somhijuntes and La Furgo. These initiatives arise in a moment of profound digital changes and a collective reconsideration of the social platforms we use.
This reflection coincides with the inauguration of Donald Trump and a growing call in Europe to leave Twitter/X, a social network criticized for its drift towards toxicity, disinformation, and excessive corporate control. In this scenario, many organizations and collectives have decided to say enough and seek more ethical and sustainable alternatives, such as Mastodon, to build healthier, freer, and more responsible digital spaces.
