FemDevs is organizing a workshop day under the theme “Non-Competitive Programming,” aimed at various age groups and in collaboration with the international project Fairgame. This initiative aims to foster an inclusive learning space in programming.
1. For adults: Introduction to Godot, with Lyhdyr Esquerdo
An introductory workshop on the free game engine Godot, covering what Godot is, its advantages, and basic concepts. During the practical portion, participants will be guided through creating a simple video game. This workshop will be conducted in English, and participants are required to bring their own laptops.
2. For girls aged 10 to 12: Girls Make Games - Creating Your First Video Game
In this non-mixed workshop, participants will create their first video game using the Construct game development engine. A USB drive is recommended for saving the project. This activity will be conducted in Spanish.
