Racism, sexism, LGTBIQ+phobia, religious discrimination... Intolerance and hate attacks against individuals and groups on social media often foster violence, but to what extent is freedom of expression legitimate when it infringes on other fundamental human rights? Why are social networks such fertile ground for hate speech? How is money related to this phenomenon? What can we do to build a different internet and leave no one behind?

A space where experts and citizens can reflect, debate, and share projects to strengthen political participation and improve democratic quality. The aim is to promote values such as equality, freedom, justice, and solidarity through deliberation and citizen participation.

What is an unconference? As the name suggests, it’s a non-conference, also known as an unconference, Open Space, etc. Different ways to say it’s a conference organized by the participants themselves. What capacity do video games have to shape our lives and the society around us? Can we find new ways to resist the prevailing system through gaming and the socialization of knowledge?

We will leverage collective knowledge to spark a debate on the topics that interest us most related to video game creation.

El Canòdrom dresses up for the festivities and shares the stage (soundboard) with community projects from Congrés and els Indians, as well as those we've collaborated with throughout the year. Together, we'll create a new episode of Ràdio Canòdrom on October 3rd at 7 PM.

On July 17 at 6pm, Xiri will present his new game HITM3, winning project of the second edition of our Vòrtex microincubator, and will explain how this daily story of three boys who want to make a film was being developed. It will be in Sala Margarita Salas at the Canòdrom – Ateneu d’Innovació Digital i Democràtica.
