This year, the 2024 Biennial del Pensament reaches the Canòdrom. A series of activities, workshops, debates, and conferences will be held, focusing on the challenges of cities and the future of democracy.

Through old photographs of the neighborhood, we will share memories and experiences to document together the daily life of the neighborhood's past during the Festa Major del Congrés! The morning of memories will be the kickoff of this autumn's historical memory project at the Canòdrom, which will promote dialogue between the young and the elderly of the neighborhood to creatively share the past and present of the neighborhood.

Discover the history of Canòdrom and its surroundings through our free guided tours. Explore the spaces, the animal rights movement, and the neighborhood's advocacy efforts. As part of the Festa Major dels Indians, on Wednesday, September 26, we will revisit the memory of this iconic building.

What is an unconference? As the name suggests, it’s a non-conference, also known as an unconference, Open Space, etc. Different ways to say it’s a conference organized by the participants themselves. What capacity do video games have to shape our lives and the society around us? Can we find new ways to resist the prevailing system through gaming and the socialization of knowledge?

We will leverage collective knowledge to spark a debate on the topics that interest us most related to video game creation.

Local festivals are a time to meet, share, and enjoy with friends and neighbors. El Canòdrom dresses up for the festivities and shares the stage (soundboard) with community projects from Congrés and els Indians, as well as those we've collaborated with throughout the year. Together, we'll create a new episode of Ràdio Canòdrom on October 3rd at 7 PM.

On July 17 at 6pm, Xiri will present his new game HITM3, winning project of the second edition of our Vòrtex microincubator, and will explain how this daily story of three boys who want to make a film was being developed. It will be in Sala Margarita Salas at the Canòdrom – Ateneu d’Innovació Digital i Democràtica.
