On Thursday, January 23, 2025, FemProcomuns is organizing the second hackathon of the BICxO project to explore the use of sensors in sustainable mobility and Internet of Things technologies in future scenarios looking 20 years ahead.

What can these technologies contribute to the ecosocial transition? What ethical risks must be avoided? What material and energy-related factors might hinder or facilitate their use? How can they help raise awareness and improve resource usage?

In some parts of the world, community networks are the only way to connect to the internet. Discover this with the documentary "Redes Comunitarias de Colnodo," directed by Fanny Zammite with the support of Samourai Coop. It will take you to rural areas of Colombia to explore two initiatives aimed at bridging social and digital divides in regions without internet access.
